2025-26 Cheer Tryouts

Thank you for your interest in trying out for our 2025-2026 squad! This year’s tryout format has been transitioned to an all virtual format in order to allow for greater student participation. If you wish to submit a tryout audition, please reach out to Coach Peyton at peyton.carolus@simpson.edu for further details.

Simpson College Cheerleading Tryout Requirements:

Incoming & Transfer Students:
1. Be accepted to Simpson College.
2. Possess sufficient physical fitness, strength, and athletic skill to perform the activities associated with competitive and sideline cheerleading.
3. Carry health/hospitalization insurance.
4. Complete all required try out forms.

Current Simpson Students:
1. Hold an overall GPA of 2.0 or above.
2. Not be on disciplinary probation.
3. Possess sufficient physical fitness, strength and athletic skills to perform the activities associated with competitive and sideline cheerleading.
4. Carry health/hospitalization insurance.
5. Complete all required try out forms.
