Storm softball opens up season in Florida
INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson softball team gears up for its 2019 season by starting play on Friday in Florida. The Storm will play 16 games in nine days in the Sunshine State.
After finishing sixth in the conference last season, Simpson has its eye set on finishing higher. With only three seniors and three juniors listed on the roster, the Storm will use their youth to their advantage.
When Simpson enters conference play, the squad will face three opponents that are currently ranked in the National Fast Pitch Coaches Division III Top-25 poll.
