McKim named IIAC Performer of the Week

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Simpson's Kyle McKim won four events and set two school records on his way to earning Iowa Conference Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week honors for the period ending Sunday, Jan. 13.

A freshman from Boone, Iowa, McKim won four events in Simpson's 118-101 win at Coe on Jan. 12. He won the 100 breaststroke (1:05.55), 200 breaststroke (2:26.66) and 200 IM (2:16.01) and swam on Simpson' s winning 400 freestyle relay (3:45.90). McKim reset his own school records in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.

McKim and the Storm travel to the Grinnell Invitational this weekend.
