Storm trio selected to Academic All-District team

INDIANOLA, Iowa - Three student-athletes on the Simpson College men's basketball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.

Easton Darling, Andrew Gibb, and Jack Hutchinson all earned the distinction for the Storm. All three are receiving their first career Academic All-District honor.

To qualify, all nominees must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, have played in 90 percent of the team's games or started at least 66 percent, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. The 2023-24 CSC Academic All-America team will be announced on April 2.
