Bio

The 2013 season marks Paul Davis' 11th as the defensive line coach at Simpson. During his tenure, Davis has coached four All-Americans: Jason Ripke in 2004 and 2005, BJ Bengard and Dustin Schelling in 2006 and, after a short hiatus from Simpson, Luke Stover in 2008.

In 2012 the Storm defense recorded 31 sacks, good for second in the league. Of the team's 31 sacks, 28.5 came from defensive lineman, including seven each by defensive ends Scott Vierow and Johnnie Sims. Vierow earned first team all-conference honors while Sims took home an honorable mention nod. 

Prior to his tenure at Simpson, Davis spent time at Drake University and Carlisle High School.

An Iowa State graduate, Paul and his wife Susan have two sons, Tim and Kevin. Tim resides in Los Angeles while Kevin and his wife, Corinne live in Coralville, Iowa with their newborn daughter, Nora. Paul and Susan reside in Carlisle, Iowa.
