Bio

Ryleigh Collum began her role as director of internal operations at Simpson College in August 2023 after being selected for the NCAA Ethnic Minorities and Women’s Internship Grant, a two-year position designed to provide hands-on experience across Division III athletics administration. Following the completion of the grant, Collum was retained as a full-time member of the Simpson athletics staff.

Since joining the Storm, Collum has played an integral role in the department’s daily operations, assisting in areas including game operations, compliance, marketing, sponsorships, community outreach, and accounting. She also serves as one of the department’s Student Athletic Advisory Committee advisors and leads a team of undergraduate assistants who play a vital role in executing Simpson’s home athletic events.

Collum graduated from the University of Iowa in 2023 with a degree in sport and recreation management.
