Bio
J. Travis Young was a two-sport athlete for Simpson. He was a three-year letterwinner for the football team from 1988-90, and was a four-year letterwinner for the wrestling team from 1987-90. For the football team he earned Second Team All-Conference honors in 1988 and again in 1989, then earning First Team All-Conference honors in 1990. Young was also a three-time All-American wrestler. He placed 6th in 1989, 4th in '90, and 1st in '91 and '92.
