Luke Stover was an unstoppable force on the defensive line for the Simpson football team, earning All-American honors in 2008. He is one of only 22 Storm football players to achieve All-American status and among a select four defensive linemen to receive this prestigious recognition.

In 2007, Luke earned second team all-conference honors, leading the team with 123 tackles (44 solo), 11 tackles for loss, three sacks, and one interception. His outstanding 2008 season saw him rise even higher as he earned first team all-conference honors, second team all-region, and ultimately third team All-American. He once again led the team in tackles, finishing his senior season with 103 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and another interception. A two-time team captain, Luke’s aggressive play style and strong leadership qualities made him a cornerstone of the Storm’s defense during his tenure.

Luke graduated from Simpson in 2009 with a degree in business management. He began his professional journey as a sales and operations manager with eShipping, where he spent six years before advancing to a flatbed operations manager role until 2022. Today, Luke is the proud owner of Stover Growth Solutions.
