Bio
Amber Ridnour Williams was a key component to the Storm’s softball national championship runs in 1997 and 1999, landing spots on the National Championship All-Tournament Team in 1997, 1998 and 1999. A career .368 hitter, the second baseman ranks second in school history in runs (87), hits (163), doubles (28) and RBIs (91). The two-time first team all-region pick still holds the school record for RBIs in a season, driving in 41 on her way to first team all-conference and second team All-America selections in 2000. Williams graduated from Simpson with a bachelor’s degree in sports administration and currently owns BodyGoals Personal Training, LLC in Des Moines. She and her husband, Donnie, have two sons, Braden (3) and Gavin (2).
