Women’s wrestling ranks ninth on NWCA Scholar All-America list

MANHEIM, Pa. – The Simpson College women's wrestling team achieved a Top 10 ranking on the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American list.

The Storm compiled a team grade point average of 3.6375 to rank ninth out of collegiate wrestling programs nationwide. Noa Arnold, Lainie Burkhart, Ashley Cannon, Keeley Kehrli, Lily McMahon and Emma Wissman all earned the association's Scholar All-America as individuals in March.

On the mat, Simpson finished the year with a 12-4 dual record and nearly 250 individual victories. Five wrestlers ended the season with 20 or more wins, including national qualifier Emaline Hicks (20-11).
