Men’s cross country team, Thompson collect national academic honors

The Simpson men’s cross country teams earned the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team Award for the 2017 season while rising senior Trey Thompson was recognized as an All-Academic Individual.
Bob Nutgrass appointed Athletic Director

Simpson College President Jay Simmons announced Wednesday that Bob Nutgrass, a long-time staff member and current assistant athletic director, will become the college’s next Athletic Director. He replaces Brian Niemuth, who has held the role for the past five years in addition to serving as the head women’s basketball coach.
