Simpson takes 12th at Central Invitational

PELLA, Iowa – The Simpson men's golf team placed 12th of 14 teams at the Central Spring Invitational on Friday and Saturday from Bos Landen Golf Course.

Simpson shot a 672 on the weekend, firing 331 on Friday and 341 on Saturday.

Andy Hutchins followed up Friday's 80 with an 81 on Saturday, finishing tied for 25^th to lead the Storm.

Connor Juilfs fired a 170 on the weekend, tying for 53rd. Joe Hupp tied for 57th, shooting 171, Matt Haley shot a 173, tying for 63rd and Zach Hale shot a 176 to tie for 75th.

Simpson returns to action next weekend at the Wartburg Spring Invitational on April 14-15.
