Jamie Deering enters her second year as the defensive coordinator and infield coach for Storm softball in 2023-24.

Deering came to Simpson from American Rivers Conference foe Dubuque where she served as an assistant coach from 2018-2021. During that same time frame, Deering also spent two years as the head softball coach and two years as an assistant softball coach for Bellevue High School. 

A native of Cary, Ill., Deering graduated in 2018 from Clarke University with a bachelor’s degree in communication. In addition to her duties for the softball program, Deering works as an admissions counselor at Simpson.
