Performed at full strength for the first time after battling injuries throughout the early portion of career ... earned all-conference recognition by taking fifth place at the Iowa Conference Championships (25:44) and all-region recognition by taking 10th place at the NCAA Central Region Championships (25:58.1) ... became Simpson's third national qualifier in as many years ... placed 163rd at the NCAA Championships, Simpson's top finish at nationals since 1995 ... led Simpson in every race in which he competed ... ran a season-best time of 25:44 at the IIAC Championships ... won the Buena Vista Invitational in his first competition of the season ... earned a spot on the Iowa Conference All-Academic Team ...
