Bio

Alex Boyer joined the Simpson football coaching staff in May 2023. Boyer will coach the Storm offensive line. 

Boyer comes to Simpson from Judson University where he was an offensive line coach for two years. He helped the program earn its first-ever win in school history and developed two all-conference linemen during that time. Additionally, he led a rushing attack that showcased a running back who rushed for over 1,200 yards on his way to All-American honors.

Prior to his time at Judson, Boyer was the tight ends and running back coach at Wayne State College. He obtained a master's degree in sports and organizational management while coaching the Wildcats.

Boyer graduated from Midland University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in secondary education and social sciences. He was a two-time all-conference offensive lineman at Midland and also landed on the NAIA/DIII All-Nebraska Team twice. The Frisco, Texas native achieved two NAIA scholar-athlete honors.
