2008: A member of the junior varsity team.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Union High School ... coached by Joe Hadachek ... named second team All-State by the Des Moines Register and first team All-District as a senior ... finished sixth in the discus and seventh in the shot put at the state track meet as a senior.

Personal: Born Jan. 5, 1990 ... son of Bret and Kim Hennessy ... majoring in computer science ... father Bret is a member of the Simpson College Athletic Hall of Fame.
