Bio

The 2017 season marks Zach Jevne's second as pitching coach for the Storm. The former Minor League pitcher is in his second stint on Simpson's coaching staff after serving as a student coach in 2010. 

Jevne was drafted in the 27th round of the 2006 MLB First-Year Player Draft by the Baltimore Orioles after a standout career at Northern Iowa. The right-hander appeared in 47 games throughout his college career, leading the team in wins, innings pitched and strikeouts as a senior. He went on to spend three seasons in the Orioles farm system. 

Zach and his wife, Shannon, reside in Indianola with their sons Charles and Leo.
