Simpson's office of athletics communication is responsible for all aspects of media relations, promotion and statistics compilation for the college's 19 varsity sports: football, volleyball, wrestling, baseball, softball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's golf.

General Practices
The office of athletics communication produces all materials pertaining to athletics in conjunction with the office of marketing and public relations. The athletics communication staff maintains the website, www.simpsonathletics.com, compiles statistics at all home events, maintains record books, stores biographical information, nominates student-athletes for local, regional and national awards and distributes said information to media outlets. The office consists of one, full-time athletics communciation director, a group of undergraduate work study students and interns. Storm on the Web
Simpson launched www.simpsonathletics.com in November 2010. The site is home to up-to-the-minute scores, stats, player profiles, exclusive feature stories, videos, photos, history and more.

Press Credentials
Press credentials are not required for regular season events. However, please contact the Simpson sports information office if you plan on attending a Storm event. For NCAA Tournament events, Simpson will follow protocol as outlined in the NCAA manual.
Press Row
A working press row will be located in the press box of Buxton Stadium. Television cameras are allowed to shoot so long as they are not in the line of action. For NCAA events, Simpson will follow protocol as outlined in the NCAA manual.
Services
Working press will receive a game program, pregame notes and complete statistical information of all contests at Simpson College.
