Bio

Peyton Carolus was hired as the head cheer coach at Simpson in August 2023.

A 2015 alum of Simpson, Carolus was a four-year member of the cheer team and served as captain for three of those years. She obtained a bachelor of arts in psychology and sociology while on campus and later achieved a master's degree in social work from Simmons University. The Des Moines, Iowa native now works as a medical social worker. 

Along with her cheer coaching experience, Carolus has coached gymnastics, competitive swim team and youth soccer.

Carolus and her husband, Donald, share one child, Jackson.
