The only heavy weight in Simpson wrestling history to garner two All-American honors, Brett Christensen '06 was a terror on the mat to opposing grapplers from 2002-06. He collected two sixth-place performances at the National Championships in 2005 and 2006, and was a four-time national qualifier. Christensen racked up 137 victories during his time in Indianola for fourth most in program history. Christensen was critical in Simpson turning the page from a 14th-place finish in 2003 to three-straight top-nine placings the next three seasons at the national championships. The Storm tied their best result in program history in 2004 with a fifth-place showing and followed the success in sixth place in 2005. Christensen graduated in '06 with a degree in accounting and now works at Downing Family Farm Partnership in Creston, Iowa.
