Bio

A five-time All-American specializing in jumps, Kinsey Bak Schiebout ‘12 is all over the Storm record books and honor lists. She is one of eight females to collect at least five All-American awards but stands alone as the only Simpson athlete to achieve the honor in the high jump. Her highest placing at the national meet was third in the indoor high jump in 2010. 

At the conference level, Schiebout collected six individual titles. The 2011 Iowa Conference Most Valuable Performer swept both the indoor and outdoor high jump titles during her junior campaign and was also crowned high jump champion during the 2009 outdoor, 2010 outdoor, and 2012 indoor seasons. Her sixth title was in the pentathlon in 2010, Simpson's first champion in the event. 

Schiebout earned all-conference recognition on 13 occassions and holds program records for indoor triple jump, indoor and outdoor high jump, and indoor pentathlon.    

 Schiebout was a double major at Simpson, graduating in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing and communications and sports administration. Schiebout resides in Orange City, Iowa with her husband, Matt. They have two children, Gentry and Colter. Schiebout works at her children's school, Orange City Christian, as a paraprofessional.
