Emma Cochran began her duties as assistant women's wrestling coach on June 1, 2023. 

A highly successful collegiate wrestler, Cochran brings a wealth of knowledge having been part of the inaugural women's wrestling recruiting class at Grand View University. She was a Senior Team Member, a two-time NAIA All-American, a Junior National Team All-American and a team representee for Wrestlers in Business Network.

In 2022, Cochran was named the Heart Conference Tournament Outstanding Wrestler after capturing the 101-pound championship. The two-time Scholar All-American also received the Clutch Performance Award and was the SHAPE research symposium top overall winner.

Originally from Chariton, Iowa, Cochran will be graduating from Grand View this April with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. She plans to pursue a master's degree in nutrition having gained valuable experience interning at Ekin Nutrition last summer.
