2011-12 | sophomore
Went 16-22 with one pin coming off of a season-ending injury which cut his sophomore season short in 2010-11 ... competed primarily at 141, going 15-18 ... went 1-4 as a 133-pounder ... went 6-9 in dual competition ... best tournament performance came at Knox Invitational on 11/12, going 3-2.

2010-11 | sophomore
Started the season 6-8 at 133 before injury cut season short ... granted an extra year of eligibility due to medical hardship.

2009-10 | freshman
Went 20-22 in first season of collegiate wrestling ... wrestled at 133 in all 44 bouts ... turned in Simpson's best showing at the IIAC Championships, placing fourth at 133 pounds, one place away from qualifying for the national tournament ... placed fifth at the North Central Invitational on 12/12 and fourth at the Williams Invitational in Williamstown, Mass. on 1/5.
