Claire (Johnson) Urias was promoted to full-time assistant coach in May 2022 after serving as a part-time assistant for two seasons prior.

The Dakota Dunes, South Dakota native was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Brian Niemuth. During that span, she was a two-time all-conference second team performer and a three-time academic all-conference honoree. Urias ended her final year by averaging 10.2 points per contest and was third in the American Rivers Conference in assists (4.2) and steals (2.4) per game.

Urias graduated from Simpson in May 2020 with a degree in physical education.
