Vivi Marquez joined the Simpson softball staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2017. Marquez comes to Simpson from Wright State University, where she was an All-Horizon League catcher for the Raiders. Prior to Wright State, Marquez starred at Rock Valley College, earning 2015 NJCAA Division III Player of the Year honors while leading the Golden Eagles to a 52-5 record and a national championship. She hit .531 with 14 home runs, 20 doubles, 85 RBIs and a .954 slugging percentage during the 2015 campaign.
