Bio
Penney Arey is in her 18th season as an assistant softball coach at Simpson in 2018. Arey played for the Storm from 1980-82 and received her degree from Simpson in physical education. She is a veteran of ASA competition throughout the Des Moines area. Arey is also a physical education teacher at Indianola Middle School and is the mother of former Simpson pitcher, Kacee Arey West, also a member of the staff.
