Bio
Thomas A. Sharples was a three-sport athlete for the Redmen, lettering in football basketball and track. He was a two-time, First Team All-Conference performer on the basketball court, taking home the honor in 1936 and 1937. He finished third in the Iowa Conference in scoring with 164 points in 1936 and second with 176 in 1937. In football, he earned First Team All-Conference honors as an end in 1936.
