Storm see action at competitive Dan Huston Invitational

WAVERLY, Iowa - Ava French once again topped the Storm scorecard, with the freshman pacing the way with a personal best at the Dan Huston Invitational on Saturday.

French set a new personal record by nearly 25 seconds and was one of two Storm runners to break the 25-minute mark. Joining French under the 25-minute mark was Brylee Schechinger. Schechinger finished the race at 24:54.5 minutes to take second overall on the team.

Kalia Stover, Araceli Tapetillo, and Emma Miller made up the middle of the pack for the Storm, as all three managed to clock sub 26-minute times. Bree Tenges and Elie Tuhn rounded out the top-seven for the Storm as Simpson as a team finished 11th in the highly competitive field.
