WAVERLY, Iowa – The Simpson College women's volleyball team suffered its first American Rivers Conference loss of the season against Wartburg on Friday night.
The Storm (15-5, 3-1 A-R-C) held strong all evening but were swept for the first time this season as Wartburg (14-6, 4-1 A-R-C) came away with 25-20, 25-23 and 25-22 wins. The Knights generated 42 kills to Simpson's 34 and held the edge at the net with 11 blocks to five.
