Women's Tennis downed by Dubuque

INDIANOLA, Iowa - Coilee Hynek picked up her first individual win of the season as the Storm hosted Dubuque at home on Friday evening.

Simpson dropped the match 6-1 to Dubuque but were highlighted by the play of Hynek. Playing in the three spot as an individual, Hynek bested her matchup 6-2, and 6-3. Natalie Collins nearly took down her opponent in the second set, pushing it to a 7-5 result after falling 6-3 in the opener. Savana Walls and Grace Peck combined for seven game wins in their individual play.

The pairing of Ava Ridenhour and Grace Peck provided the most spark for the Storm in doubles, winning their set 6-4 over Dubuque's Kadia Cole and Jayda Floyd.
