Storm stopped by Prairie Wolves at home
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Ava Ridenhour claimed the lone match win for the Storm as Simpson fell 6-1 to Nebraska Wesleyan to begin a three-game homestand on Wednesday.
Ridenhour narrowly dropped the first set 7-5 before rallying back strong for a 6-3 win in set two. Ridenhour then overpowered her matchup 10-3 in the tiebreaker to claim the match.
Hannah Roth won five games over her two sets in the six spot for the Storm, while Grace Peck and Savana Walls combined for six game wins in their individual matches.
In the doubles, Peck and Ridenhour grinded to the end in their match, ultimately falling 7-5. Simpson as a squad collected three game wins in the first and third slot in doubles.
