Storm battle but come up short in match against Buena Vista

INDIANOLA, Iowa - Simpson started off strong winning the doubles point before ultimately dropping to Buena Vista 5-2 on Sunday evening.

The pairing of Grace Peck and Savana Walls claimed the first doubles win, taking down their opponents 6-4. Natalie Collins and Ava Ridenhour claimed the second and critical doubles win to earn Simpson the doubles point to open the match.

However, the Storm faltered in individual play, with only Ava Ridenhour winning her matchup in a dramatic 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 affair. Hannah Roth won her second set of individual play 7-6 before falling in the finale.
