GALESBURG, Ill. -- The Simpson women's soccer team didn't have an answer for a quality Knox side in a 2-0 loss Saturday.
The Storm (1-3) managed just two shots against the Knox back line, with both coming in the second half. Goalkeeper Madeline Schulenberg kept it interesting, though, coming up with 10 saves.
Brooklyn Demig put the Prairie Fire (2-2) on the board with her goal in the 16th minute, then Alex Robertson added an insurance tally in the 78th minute.
Jessica Payne took both shots for the Storm.
