Storm break 4x100 school record at final tune up before nationals
INDIANOLA, Iowa - The pairing of Daniel Pere, Brendan Godbout, Kendrick Achebe, and Joseph Sams continued to reach new heights, breaking the school record in the 4x100 for a second time in a week on Wednesday afternoon.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- After setting a new school record last weekend at the A-R-C Championships, the 4x100 team continued to improve, becoming the first group to break the 41-second barrier in the event with a time of 40.94 seconds
- Godbout continued to climb up the school leaderboards in the 400m hurdles, setting a new personal best time at 52.74, moving him to third best in school history
- Amina took home a fourth place finish in the high jump while Achebe finished top-five in the 100m dash
