Storm celebrate seniors at Kip Janvrin Open
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Simpson played host to the Kip Janvrin Open, honoring the 2025 season class, while also seeing action at the Drake Relays on Thursday and Friday.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Doug Berg entered his name in the school top-10 marks, setting the 10th best time in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 9:45.96 minutes.
- Tate Dierking also entered the school's top-10, this time in the discus with his best toss of 41.39m placing him ninth in school history.
- Isaiah Strong recorded the highest finish for any Storm athlete at the Kip Janvrin, taking fourth overall in the high jump with a mark of 1.86m.
- Kendrick Achebe placed 12th overall at the Drake Relays in the highly contested 100m dash with a time of 10.55 seconds.
- Brenden Godbout finished 19th overall at the Drake Relays in the 400m hurdles with his time of 54.96 seconds.
