Storm fall on the road at Macalester

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Macalester used an early goal, and another right out of halftime to stop Simpson 2-0 on the road Tuesday night.

Simpson recorded eight shots in the match but was unable to find the back of the net. Ronaldo Ordaz led the way with three shots, followed by Jackson Mears with two. Mitchell Dickson and Zach Kline each recorded one shot each. Jimmy Berna got the start in goal, recording two saves, both coming in the second half.

GOAL SUMMARY

  • In the 10th minute, Macalester struck first on a goal from Chris Frantz, assisted by Ondieki Maina.
  • Out of halftime, in the 49th minute, Macalester struck again, scoring the second and final goal of the match.
