Storm close out fall season in strong fashion

PELLA, Iowa - In the final competition of the fall season, Blake Perrin and Jackson Tennis once again provided a key one-two punch for the Storm at the Central fall classic on Tuesday.

Perrin played consistent golf at the top of the scorecard for the Storm, shooting a 74 and 75 to place sixth in the field. Tennis claimed the lowest round of any Storm in the opener, starting with an even-par 72 before finishing with a 79 for a seventh place finish. The duo finished at the top of the scorecard for Simpson in five of the six fall tournaments.

Jacob Peterson and Bradley Kofoed placed third and fourth on the team, combining for three birdies over the two days. Avin Legg saw a dramatic improvement from round one to round two, dropping 12 strokes off his game, and carding the third best score for the Storm in round two.

As a team, Simpson placed fifth overall in a field of 16 teams, moving up one spot from round one to round two, and picking up wins over Wartburg, William Penn, and St. Ambrose.
