Storm men's golf earns fourth place at BVU Fall Invite

STORM LAKE, Iowa - The combo of Jackson Tennis and Blake Perrin once again led the Storm with top-ten finishes as Simpson took home fourth overall at the BVU Fall Invite on Sunday.

Tennis dropped four strokes off his game from round one to round two, shooting up to ninth on the leaderboards with Perrin. Perrin played consistent golf, going for 75 then 77, and claiming his third straight top-ten performance on the year. The two combined for eight birdies, four each.

Jack Wahman used a stellar opening round 74 to place third on the team and 12th overall. Jacob Peterson and Bradley Kofoed rounded out the scorecard for the Storm at 19th and 25th respectively.

As a team, Simpson took home fourth overall for the second straight time this season, just seven strokes off the lead. Simpson played the second best golf of the field on par-4's and ranked third best on the par-3's in scoring averages while totaling 17 birdies over the two rounds.
