IIAC Performers of the Week

The junior from Sheffield, Iowa averaged 20.3 points and five rebounds while shooting 54 percent from the field in three games, helping the Storm to a 2-1 mark. Amsbaugh had 19 points and two rebounds in Monday's 100-89 loss at Buena Vista, 31 points and eight rebounds in Wednesday's 101-95 win over Loras and 11 points and five rebounds in Saturday's 86-80 win at Wartburg.

Amsbaugh's 31-point outburst against Loras marked his third, 30-point game of the season as he helped the Storm snap Loras' 11-game winning streak. He went 14-for-16 from the line in the game, helping the Storm tie a school record with 47 made free throws.

The three-time IIAC Player of the Week is fast approaching the 1,000-point milestone -- he has 914 heading into Wednesday's matchup against league-leading Buena Vista.
