Simpson tallies 38 Spring All-Academic honorees

The American Rivers Conference announced its 2019 Spring All-Academic Team on Thursday and Simpson had 38 student-athletes receive the honor. From around the league, 348 student-athletes were recognized for the achievement.
Truman grabs all-region first team nod

After two straight second-team nominations since the end of the 2019 season, Truman Schmitt was finally placed on a first team, this time by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings in the Central Region.

Freshman Brady Held struck out 11 batters as the Simpson baseball team won 8-2 over Central in the opener of the American Rivers Conference doubleheader on Tuesday. The Storm closed out the day with an 8-5 loss to the Dutch at McBride Field.
