Seiler named to UW-River Falls All-Tournament Team
INDIANOLA, Iowa – Following the weekend at River Falls, freshman Emmy Seiler was named to the UW-River Falls All-Tournament Team.
Seiler was a starter in all three games of the UW-River Falls tournament this past weekend, recording a weekend-high 12 kills with only one error in the match against Bethel (Minn.). She added 10 more kills in their Friday night victory over Saint Benedict.
Seiler put up 27 kills this weekend in Wisconsin. She averaged 2.45 kills/set and had a 0.213 hitting efficiency on the weekend. Seiler now leads the Storm volleyball team in kills and has the highest hitting percentage of the starters for the team. She also added seven digs and four blocks to her stat line this weekend, with three of her blocks being recorded in the victory against Bethel.
This is Emmy Seiler's second week in a row of receiving honors after tournaments, being named to the Central/Grinnell All-Tournament Team last weekend.
The Storm (4-3) will head to Mount Vernon this weekend to compete in the Cornell Tournament against North Central (Ill.), Augsburg, and Cornell College.
