Volleyball drops non-conference contest at Graceland

LAMONI, Iowa - The Simpson volleyball team ran into a tough Graceland squad on Tuesday, falling in three sets in its first true road match of the season, 25-15, 25-22, 25-17.

The Storm (3-2) hit just .060 as a team against the NAIA Yellowjackets (7-2), losing their second straight. 

Madison Endsley led the team with seven kills to go along with seven digs and two blocks, while Niki Dean had five kills and two blocks. Megan Kneib had 11 kills to lead Graceland, which hit .242 as a team.

Up next: Simpson goes to the Illinois Wesleyan Barker Classic in Bloomington, Ill. this weekend. The Storm face MacMurray and Rose-Hulman on Friday and close with Illinois Wesleyan and Benedictine (Ill.) on Saturday.
