Blaser named honorable mention all-conference

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Simpson's Tabitha Blaser earned a spot on the 2014 All-Iowa Conference Volleyball team following a career season this fall.

A junior from Forest City, Iowa, Blaser earned honorable mention all-conference honors for third time in her career. The 5-9 outside hitter had a career-high 387 kills during the season, good for fifth in the Iowa Conference.

Blaser also posted a career-best .229 hitting percentage and surpassed the 1,000 kill milestone on the final weekend of the season. She posted two, 20-kill efforts during the season and was named to the all-tournament team at the Augustana Pumpkin Bash, held Oct. 31-Nov. 1.
