INDIANOLA, Iowa – Rachel Bosworth and Megan Barron combined for 23 kills and Coe topped the Simpson volleyball team 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-13) on Wednesday night.
Bosworth had a game-high 13 kills and Barron added 10 as the Kohawks (17-10, 6-0 Iowa Conference) extended their conference winning streak to 15 matches.
Tabitha Blaser had a team-high eight kills for the Storm (9-20, 1-5), who hit only .079 against the top defense in the Iowa Conference. Steph Keller had six kills, Katie Kieffer handed out 19 assists and Audrey Schuttler led the way with 11 digs.
Three seniors took the floor at Cowles Fieldhouse for the final time: Keller, McKaylie Croghan and Caitlyn Shiek. Simpson has the weekend off before the final conference match of the season on Oct. 23.
Simpson goes to Dubuque to face the University of Dubuque at 7:30 p.m.
