DUBUQUE, Iowa - Megan Dunlavy registered 13 kills but Simpson hit .107 as a team in a 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-21) loss to Loras on Wednesday night.
Katiy Frost had 13 kills and Cassie Crabill added eight for the Duhawks (6-6, 3-1 Iowa Conference). Loras hit .208 as a team and tallied eight blocks against Simpson.
Haley Danforth and Steph Keller added six kills apiece for the Storm (2-9, 0-3), who are still in search of their first win in league play. Ashley Padgett handed out 24 assists and Audrey Schuttler led the team with 17 digs.
Simpson travels to Decorah this weekend for the Luther Invitational. The Storm open play against Alverno at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23.
