LoVan ties pole vault record to lead Storm at season-opener

PELLA, Iowa — Audrey LoVan tied the school record in the pole vault to lead the Simpson women's track and field team at the season-opening Dutch Holiday Preview on Saturday, Dec. 9. No team scores were kept.

LoVan cleared 10-feet to tie for third in the pole vault, tying the school record set by Kathryn Fenneman in 2006. The effort ties her personal-best but marks the first time she's cleared 10-feet indoors.
