Storm athletes compete at nationals

CANTON, N.Y. – Bayley Fleshner and Dylan Kalinay represented the Simpson track and field team at the 2015 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships on Friday.

Fleshner just missed qualifying for the finals in the 100-meter hurdles. The senior placed 11th, missing finals by two places. She ran 14.82, running the only heat that ran into the wind.

Making his first appearance at the national meet, Kalinay placed 14th in the 110-meter hurdles, improving upon his seed by three places. The freshman crossed the line in 14.83.
