Reusche, Bierbrodt named honorable mention all-conference

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Kayla Reusche earned honorable mention honors for singles and doubles and Cassidy Bierbrodt added honorable mention honors in doubles to represent Simpson on the 2017 All-Iowa Conference Women's Tennis Team.

A junior from Waverly, Iowa, Reusche posted a 6-6 mark at No. 1 singles on the year, including a 4-4 record in dual competition. She went 3-3 in conference play, the second-most wins on the team. She held the No. 1 spot in doubles as well, going 4-9 on the season and 4-6 in duals.

A senior from Osceola, Iowa, Bierbrodt went 4-8 overall in doubles, including a 4-5 mark in dual competition and a 2-5 record in conference play.
