CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Megan Bradley notched her fifth-straight win to start the season but the Simpson women's tennis team couldn't get past Coe in a 7-2 setback Saturday.

Bradley improved to 5-0 on the season with a 6-2, 2-6, 10-7 win over Lakyn Boltz at No. 2 singles, one of two singles wins for the Storm (2-3, 0-3 Iowa Conference). Sierra Griffith added the other win, a 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 triumph over Madison Wilson at No. 5 singles.

The six-time defending IIAC Automatic Qualifier Kohawks (3-2, 2-0) swept the doubles competition to build an early lead in the meet.

Bradley suffered her first doubles loss of the season, teaming with Kayla Reusche in an 8-1 loss to Haley Resnick and Eliza Sunderman at No. 1 doubles.
