Women's tennis takes part in Gustavus Fall Invite

ST. PETER, Minn. — The Simpson women's tennis team took part in the Gustavus Adolphus Fall Invitational last weekend in Minnesota.

Cassidy Bierbrodt was the team's top performer, going 2-2 in Draw 7 of the singles competition. After losing her first match of the tournament, she won two straight in the consolation bracket to advance to the consolation finals. She lost a tight 8-6 match in the finals to Wis.-Eau Claire's Hannah Zevenbergen.
